Mr. Phelps and the PC Free Incredible Mission

Jesse Owens upstaged Hitler and Nazism at the 1936 Olyimpics in Munich, and now Michael Phelps has done the same thing to Red China and its Communist rulers in Bejeing in 2008, on junk food.  Mr. Phelps' seemingly impossible mission was being a big, aggressive American consuming huge amounts of carbs and a daily, PC free diet of 12,000 calories.  How selfish of him, how politicaly incorrect!  How can one man, and an American at that, consume enough food in one day for six people?  Why, because he works hard and strives for excellence, and has now achieved his goals, of eight gold medals.  By doing so, he has eclipsed the last borish male to do so, another American named Mark Spitz, who won seven golds in Munich in 1972.  Isn't it great to be an American?

Mr. Phelps, if I recall corretly, starts his day with a breakfast of champions, consitsing of three egg sandwiches, a five egg omelet, as well as three slices of French toast and three chocolate chip pancakes smothered in maple syrup.  What, no bean sprouts? For lunch, he consumes a whole pound of speghetti and three double cheeseburgers and a 1,000 calorie energy drink.  For dinner, the glutton indulges himself with another pound of speghetti, a whole pizza and another 1,000 calorie energy drink.

He needs all those calories for his workout, which consists of swimming six hours a day.  Subtracting 2,000 calories for basic daily caloric needs, that means he is burning up approximatley 1,667 calories per hour during his routine (10,000/6 hours).  Isn't he thinking about all those bad carbs and their effects on him when vegetarian joggers everywhere are puttering along on new, low carb foods?  Doesn't he know there are children starving in Chi..., oh, never mind.  He probably doesn't even have medical or health care insurance, the pig.  There is a competitive body builder in the Pittsburgh area who was highlighted in a local news report.  His daily diet consisted of two pounds of speghetti, three pounds of brocolli and five gallons of water.

I'd like to try Phelps' diet, for at least a week.  But by then, I'd probably be stuck in my chair and need a forklift for someone to haul me around.  A friend of mine determined, to get back into shape and make himself more attractive to the ladies (fat chance).  To do that, he gave up carbs (except Belgian beers), bread, refined sugar, soft drinks and went to the gym six days a week to exercise and use the cross trainers for up to an hour each day.  He promptly lost thirty pounds and bragged to my brother, our friends and myself he had a work out that would make us cry.  Actually, it caused his knees to swell up, so he had to modify his routine.  I lost almost the same amount by going to the gym two or three times a week and only decreased the amount of food I ate.  My friend eventually found a woman, who is obviously working on sainthood and willing to put up with him.

In all these examples there is one commonality.  An individual American decided to modify his or her behavior in order to achieve a goal, uneffected by the negative preachings of the Left against the selfishness of the individual.  In America, we are all individuals best left to our devices for our own benefit or detriment.  To the Left, that is an impossible mission.  Yet at the Olympics, we swept the the men's 400 meter hurdles, the first time since 1960, and an an American woman won the discuss throw for the first time since 1930,  In addition, our two women beach volley ball team is undefeated and ready to play for gold.  We even have our best woman's gymnist, Natia Liukin, ready to win the gold in the volt, even after being edged out of the gold for the uneven bars by a new tie breaker rule.  She has already won four medals and her father is a former Soviet gymnist who has since moved with his wife to America.  To us, anything is possible, it's part of being an American and not listening to political correctness.

It's the Congress, Stupid III-Off by Fifty Miles

Sometimes, it's not the House or the Dems, it's the Senate Rinos you have to watch for signs of stupidity.  Leave it up to to the Rinos in the Senate to give it all up to the Democrats and prove themselves the unwitting fools of the Left.

The bill the five Rinos, plus five Deomcrats, put together has no chance of becoming law because of a presidential veto.  It's just another useless gesture, like all those non-binding resolutions either house of Congress comes up with time to to time from their liberal majorities.  The main problem with this is its timing, just as conservative Republicans are continuing the present session of Congress in the House to force a vote on real oil drilling.  Talk about snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

The bill, as proposed, has one interesting component.  It will allow four coastal states to decide on drilling off their coasts.  That's a good start, it should be all coastal states.  But it also restricts any drilling within the first fifty miles of the continetal shelf.  Isn't this like the Dems saying; as they did with the leases in the Western States, when they said the oil companies can drill on millions of acres of land;, but only those containing little or no oil?  This will not include anything, like ANWR, that may actually have significant deposits of oil, like the nearby deposits around Barrow, Alaska.

What will be the next empty consession be from the Left?  Maybe they will tell the oil companies they can drill all in and around Dallas so the oil companies can be like J.R. Ewing on the old TV series "Dallas".  This would be no concession.  The last time I saw a geological map of Texas showing oil and gas deposits, there were no oil or gas under Dallas, Ft. Worth or their surrounding counties.  There were deposits under Houston and along most of the Texas coast and off shore, however.  So, even if Texas is one of the four states allowed to drill on the continental shelf under this new law, they still could not drill in some of the most pormising areas.

Idiotic concession like the ones I cited are akin to the old joke about going to a popular, fancy restaurant you have to make reservations well in advance; only to have the waiter come out and say "Here's your menus, kitchen's closed."

To the five idiots in the Senate in the latest consession to the left, all we can say is "Don't expect a tip, or a return to office."

Brat the Ignorant

Just when I'm having fun attacking Congress, Brat Obama sets himself up for ridicule again.  The Ignorant One, the Ill Informed, the Prattling Brat just said Republicans are ignorant about oil.

It's encouraging to to see Obama is so accomplished in projection.  I was beginning to think he had no talent at all.  Obama even makes Paris Hilton look informed and articulate (using other people's words just like Obama).  They're not the same, of course.  Obama has a Law degree from Harvard and I have heard Paris Hilton is a high school dropout.  If that's true, I'm very impressed, that must be some high school.  Paris sounds even more intelligent and knowledgeable than Ms. Tyson, one of Obama's and the Clintons' chief economic advisors.  Where do I sign up for summer school?

Actually, I took enough Economics courses in college to qualify for a minor.  Any more and I would have become depressed as a result of the Dismal Science.  I know enough to realize Obama is also ignorant of Economics when he also announced we can become free of oil in ten years.  Is that free of foreign oil or free from the need for any oil at all, Sen. Obama?

If it is the latter, how can we properly inflate our tires if they can not even be made without oil?  What about the asphalt on our roads as well as the plastics, solvents, fabrics and countless other products and applications made from oil?  The world would fall apart without oil, at least America.  Then we would have to import all those products from China; as their government starts drilling off our coasts during the next ten years for our oil.  They can then process our oil into more subsequent exports and pollute their own skies, water and land before suing us for providing them with so much deadly potroleum.

If it is the former, how can we reduce the over all demand for oil by 70%, in order to stop oil imports?  How much more oil (and lead) will we need to produce electric cars, their tires or the fuel needed to purify silicon, which never exists in pure form, to make  solar cells?  What about the natural gas needed to melt steel, to the amazement of Rosie, in order to make those cars or modern wind turbins and their platforms?  Or are you tilting at monsters in your Quixotic delusions?  What does it matter to you?  Sancho Panza will always pay for it, but we won't.  We have no obligation or desire to follow you.

Stick to prepared scripts and quit wondering off your photo mark, Senator.  You make too tempting a target for those of us who know something about the world.

It's the Congress, Stupid II-Lights Out

Pelosi turned out the lights, but the Republicans and the people have stayed on in her place.  Is it any wonder?  The Democrat leadership is notable for its lack of mental depth, depending on group politics and group think, to the point they make wonderful targets for ridicule.  I want to thank them for this opportunity; and sinse they are so predictable, "It's the Congress Stupid" just might become a regular feature of my blog.

When there is a complete lack of real leadership, someone needs to step in and take over, providing a much needed alternative to the madness.  No one seems more out of touch (or touched), with the possible exception of Obama, than Madam Pelosi in her insistent refusal to face reality.  Obama's is the success of the surge, Pelosi's is the need for more domestic oil and a break from the power of the Enviro Nazis.  Madam Pointdexter, how can you save the world if you destroy your country?  Or is it a sign of weaknes, of both resolve and grasp of what really matters, that she is lacking sinse she became the inarticulate Speaker of the House?  To her, it's all politics, a politics of catch phrases and theatrical excesses over what really needs to be done.  All she has to do is reconvene the House and put the issue of domestic drilling to an up or down vote.

She won't, of course.  Pelosi and the other liberals in Congress, along with Reid and the Democrat majority in the Senate, have become complacent, year to year; to simply complain about the annual increase in gas prices during the summer drive season.  While the Republicans had nominal majorities in both houses of Congress, the prices would settle back to about the same level each year.  Now that the Democrats have control of both houses of ill-repute, is it any wonder that the price of gas has gone up and not declined again?

Actually, the lights have been out in the House of Representatives for a long time.  In Pelosi's case, they're blown out, without even a pilot light in evidence.  This should be an inspiration to us.  We can work for change, by actually voting the Democrats out, like we did in 1994.  Then we can vote the Rinos out, including Sen. Snarlin Arlin in 2010.

P.S. I want to compliment The Oil Patch Plug for his posting of port-a-johns with the catch phrases of Obama's campaigns.  They reminded me of the Democrat Congress.

Ludicrous Is as Ludacris Does

Ludacris is lude, stupid and presumptious.  He may also cost Obama the election.  He has taken his hatred and assumptive self and jumped right into the ridiculous.

His song is not music, it's the same three or four flatulent notes in the background, as he drones on in a flatulent way in the foreground.  All the time he goes on about himself and his assumptions about the election, the candidates, Hillary and Bush.

Ludacris's offering will go down in the annals of Rap with "Cop Killer" by the equally talentless Ice Tea, who is now playing a cop on one of the "Law & Order" TV series, the one I avoid.  How ironic it is to become the thing, or person, you hate?  Perhaps Ludacris will end up paralyzed in a chair by his own actions.  He's already mentally limited.

There are moments when a person confirms him or herself as incongruous with logical thought or reason.  Ludacris has made himself  ludicrous and pompous with his latest effort.

Compact Fluorescents and the Pre-Fab Lawsuits

The Left is always for more power and contol.  Now they mandate contaminating our homes with mercury and then setting us up to be victims or villains in the inevitable lawsuits resulting from their actions.

Remember marjoram and all its health benefits over butter?  Now it's assailed because it contains the new evil of Trans Fats.  Most recently, Trans Fats were banned in California, where Arnold is trying to morph into Gov. Moonbeam by installing the first state wide ban against those evil, artificial fats.

Remember all those complaints about carbon monoxide and how deadly it all is and that we should convert it to eco friendly carbon dioxide?  It was cleaner, it was healthier and it was plant food.  The idea was impressed upon us that more carbon dioxide makes plants grow; so every time we breathe, a flower blooms.  Then the emissions of carbon monoxide were reduced and they needed something else to nag us about and demonize; so they went after plant food and turned it into a greehouse gas.  This was picked up by the news media and magnified, even though carbon dioxide is a smaller trace gas in the atmosphere than argon gas and argon hasn't been demonized, yet.  Some day, they will demonize nitrogen as a greenhouse gas, even though it's an inert gas and makes up more than 60% of the atmosphere.  First, they'll convince us of the volatility of the oxygen in the air and take down another rabbit hole.

The liberals have been after the Boy Scouts for years with lawsuits and local government activism in order to force them to allow gay scout mastres access to scouts.  This way, they can set up the Boy Scouts of America for pre-fab lawsuits brought about from any resulting homosexual child molestation cases.  The Boy Scouts of America, a private organization based on general Christian principles, have successfully fought and won in the Supreme Court because of the right of freedom of association, for now.  The Left will not be happy until they set up the Boy Scouts for these incidents and the resulting lawsuits.  How can scouts stay morally straight, when they are being placed in moral danger and are having their first amendment rights to freely exercise their religion and of free asssociation are systematically violated by endless lawsuits and community pressure from advocates?  I was a Boy Scout, and though most of the other scouts were not part of my religious denomination, I did not feel excluded among Catholic, other Protestant or Eastern Orthodox scouts.  We were Boy Scouts because we, and our families, had the right to freely associate with whom we wanted to associate with or else we left, period.

The Democrats in Congress has now banned incadescent light bulbs, to be replaced by compact fluorescents.  They are effectively forcing Americans to buy and install an ineffecient and enviromentally destructive device in our homes containing mercury; setting up the manufacturers of these devices for new lawwsuits and placing us in mortal, instead of moral danger.  It's all about the money the Left can extact from us, through more government regulations and monetary awards from lawsuits waiting in the wings to capitalize on these changes.

The change in attitude and emphasis will occur once the solution to a problem is demonized as the new danger.  It's the ultimate, ongoing extortion racket in a progressive society, not only in Congress.  Let's split the difference and bring lawsuits against Congress now to nix the whole process on the basis of the 9th and 10th Amendments.

"It's the Congress, Stupid!" The Slogan for '08.

All our economic problems are from, or have been increased, by the Democrat Congress.

Gas prices have risen from under $3.00 a gallon in 2006 to over $4.00 a gallon before Bush removed the executive order of his own father against off-shore drilling.  Has Congress followed Bush's lead?  Pelosi is not allowing any off-shore drilling measures from even coming to a vote, to save the Earth and destroy our economy.  Congress is bailing out the mortgage crises they created and rewarding the irresponsible behavior of a small percentage of mortgage holders who should have never qualified for a loan.

We are about to be hit by the second raise in the minmum wage, as mandated by Congress.  It will result in even more unemployment among low skilled workers and students looking for summer work and more cries from liberals to increase it even more.

The liberal Democrat Congress passed ethanol legislation, increasing demand for corn and taking more acreage away from the growing of alternative crops.  This arbitrary, economically vacant decision also reduced the yeilds of other crops, their supply and drove up their prices and the price of corn on the coomodities market, not the speculators.  At the same time, the cost of corn in hundreds of products has increased their retail and wholesale prices as well, while adding to inflation.  Then there is the resulting hunger and food riots among people all around the world who are dependent on cheap, American raised corn.  See my "Counting the Ways" posting to this blog on 7-7-08 at 4:21 PM.  Thank you, liberal Democrat members of Congress, for your endemic imbecility.

Who is paying for it all and allowing the inmates to run the asylum?  We are, as a result of enough conservatives deciding to sit out the 2006 election to give the Liberal Democrats majorities in both houses.  We are going to make it even worse by doing the same thing this year.  Who says the election is over, Obama the next President and that the Democrats will increase their dominance in Congress?  The news media tells us this every day, but too may of us accept these premises as accomplished facts.  Berra is right, it's not over until it's over.  The election is not over and the fat lady has not sung.  Right now, she has laryngitis and we are tone deaf.

Gullible's Travels

Is Obama a giant among Lilliputians?  No, he's a nattering gnat among giants; a gullible one and not very swift.

The hallmark of his naivete and Lilliputian thinking is a 16 month timetable for withdrawing troops from Iraq and redeploing them to Afghanistan.  Is this akin to his suggestion to send more Arabic tanslators from Iraq, a predominantly Semitic nation, to Afghanistan, a nation composed almost entirely of Indo-European languages?  His Lilliputian grasp of the ligusistic components of either country is not surprising, it's ineveitable.  We can expect no less from someone so limited in his understanding of the world.  His glaring inadequacies are far more taxing than his lack of knowledge of foreign languages.  Obama is only known for his rhetorical talents in speeches, but a well trained parrot can do almost as well.

What he fails to realize is how gullible and easily deceived he can be in any language, in any country.  He is misled because his assumptions of superiority and semi-divinity are only excelled by his failure to do the paper work and preparations for his travels.  His most glaring assumption comes from thinking, if we don't look threatening to the terrorist, they won't attack us.  For a supposed Constitutional scholar, he has not read the Constitution or the Federal Papers, including 41 where Madison observes "Security against foreign danger is one of the primitive objects of civil society.  It is an avowed and essential object of the American union."  Madison also states "The means of security can only be regulated by the means and the danger of attack.  They will in fact be ever determined by these rules and by no others."  Who attacked whom, Sen. Obama?

Can we expect a greater grasp of the world from someone so limited in his thinking and understanding?  He is running as the potential fuehrer of our country and made a speech in Berlin, in English.  Were not the Germans the giant, super race Brobdingnags of their day in WWII, before we cut them down to size?  The Brobdingrag or Brobdingnag terrorists and state sponsors of terrorism today are laughing at the presumptions of this tiny gnat, rag or nag.  Will Obama, citizen of the world, a cesspool he does not understand, rise above his self-imposed delusions while presuming to be President of the United States of America?

Obama can not even understand the tiny universe of Lilliput and Blefuscu confronted by recurring wars caused by which end of the egg to open first; without realizing the conflict was started by the edict of another presumptuous and butterfingered emperor ill-equipped for statecraft.

Madam Pointdexter of the House Pelosi

Pelosi wants to handle the most important issue of the day.  Freeing America from imported oil?  Shoring up the southern border from invasion while allowing off-shore drilling and opening oil bearing Federal lands for exploration?  Acknowledging the victory in Iraq?  Oh, heck no, she wants to impeach President George W. Bush, again.

For what, who knows?  She also wants the whole procedure to be non-binding on House members.  Welcome to the newest installment of Pap Political Theater from the Madam Pointdexter of the House Pelosi pandering to her mentally malformed, asymetrical base.  How many non-binding resolutions does this make from the least resolute of political parties?  The Queen must be miffed.  Are the farm workers at her California estate and winery threatening to unionize?  Are her grandchildren ready to disown her for being more churlish and childish than they are?

Exactly what were her qualifications for being elevated to the third highest office in the land; for someone this tubular in her thinking to be only two heartbeats away from the Oval Office?  Of course, she was the affirmative action set aside for 2006.  She was then praised for being the new face of the compassionate, progressive Democrat party.

Now, with her worthless resolutions, regal style and obstinate behavior, she looks more like the south end of a north bound mule off to pasture or posture.  We are not amused.

Obama, the Stuttering Fool

Just when you want to take politics serious, Obama stutters his way through foreign policy.  He's out on his own Dukakis inspired ride in a tank through the Middle East.   He's making himself into a bigger fool than Dukakis did in that tank helmet.  This is historic, it's the moment the Obama makes himself look ridiculous and confirms him as the lightweight on foreign policy we and our enemies in foreign countries know.  The job of Commander in Chief is supposed to be occupied by a civilian, not an active member of the military, but a civilian with a brain and some grasp of the world.  The only thing Obama has a grasp of is his presumptive divinity.  Sorry, we're not inspired by his assumption, but our enemies are now inspired to attack such a vain paper tiger once he comes to office.  Obama is only confirming he is as big a stuttering fool, moment to moment, as he is when he's caught off guard by a question.  He is also the living embodiment of the shortcomings of liberal higher education, an over educated idiot.  America deserves better.

Opocrisy and Obocracy

Obama is so full of hypocrisy, I gave him a new nickname, Opocrisy; and when it comes to democracy, Obocracy.  It's in his nature as a liberal, a sophist, to act and talk in an artificial way in order to deceive others for his own advantage.  He can't help himself.  A case in point is his rejection of Federal campaign financing so he can open himself to the special interest funding through 527 groups he preaches against.  Now he'll have to charactirize them as grass roots support. He also contradicted himself about the gun ban in Washingotn, D.C. with his insistence on community standards, until the decision.  Now he's singing a different tune, until the wind changes.  He's sounding more and more like Kerry when Kerry said he voted for the war, before voting against it in the 2004 election.

All I can say to his Opocrisy is "Bravo!"  I can't say "Author, author!"  That's because Obama doesn't write his own speeches and seems lost without prompting and guidance.  So how can we be sure he is the author of this particular piece of theatrics or any other moment of contradictory behavior?  Remember, he is the Shill of the Day.  As the Demagogic Shill Du Jour, he presented himself as the candidate who transcends race; before he was shown to be the candidate of racism, as in Black Theology, Rev. Wright et al in the perpetuation of a fraudulent shell game.  Still, he carries it off so well, while beguiling the clueless to place their bets with his lead.  Makes you wonder who is directing him and pulling his stings.  Every time his carefully crafted image and the ramshackle quality of his own behavior diverge, his little bits, or fits, of acting and even his smooth delivery says much about his future.  That future will be in playing roles in Hollywood movies or TV series and may guarantee box office gold (see Gore).  It says nothing about his reliability as an effective President.  The statement about campaign financing, at least, has caught McCain off guard and may have made the old Senator and campaign wonder kid even more dependent on Republican Party funds provided by small, individually contributed donations from rank and file Republicans who are distrustful of his own liberal aberrations.  How ironic.

When it comes to his form of democracy, or Obocracy, he is more consistent; while clothed in self-imposed ignorance and Marxism, which are the same thing.  You don't need a mind, after all, in order to be a good communist.  America is not a democracy; it is a representative republic, as set forth in the Constitution and explained in the Federalist Papaers for anyone who care to read those documents.  As a lawyer, he should be more learned about the foundations of our country.

That supposition assumes an open mind, but as a Marxist Liberal, he shows all the narrow mindedness of someone like Hugo Chavez forcing Venezuela into a communist dictatorship.  He keeps going on about using the 'firm hand" of the government and scolds us by saying we shouldn't eat so much, drive so much or keep our homes to warm.  Who does he think he is, the top nanny in a nanny state?  A ninny or a Nazi is more like it, but a demented Nazi with the potential full force of the Federal government behind him.  All he needs is a Hitler moustache and jack boots.  Sporting a Stalin moustache and temperiment would be too obvious.

This last week Obama said America is no longer a Christian nation, but a Jewish nation, a Muslim nation because there are people of those faiths or non faith, in the case of atheists, in our country.  A point of history is needed to be cited here.  The first Jewish congregation already existed in Rhode Island before the Revolutionary War and there were atheists in the eighteenth century, but neither group was excluded from the Constitution.  The First Amendment's twin protections of freedom of religion were specifically included to prevent the government's imposition of one form of Christianity, like the Anglican faith, upon the other Protestant faiths and Catholicism as existed in
England and later Great Britain with the king as the head of that faith, or religion as the Founders viewed every denominations. This protection including the full exercise of one's specific Christian religion.  Obama's Obocracy is now set upon the assumption of the unanimous acceptance.  That is, if there are any individuals who are not Christians in America, then the country is not Christian.  The twin facts that America is the largest Christian/Protestant country in the world, and at the same time the freest, is no coincidence.  The right to individually chose your denomination is a basic right of Liberty.  Is Obama's view of of the law based on the same unanimous acceptance?  In other words, since there are law breakers among the law abiding, does that mean all our laws are invalid and we live in a lawless country?  Well, he is a liberal politician and a liberally ignorant individual.

There are few things we unanimously agree on for there are always differences of opinions and levels and types of belief; but the Constitution provides minority protections already and most specifically for the individual.  The reason we have a republic is to defend the individual and the indiividual's ownership of property because, as Madison observed in Federalist Paper 10 "a pure democracy....can admit to no cure for the mischiefs of faction."  He further states "there is nothing to check the inducements to sacrifice the weaker party, or an obnoxious individual.  Hence it is, that such Democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security, or the rights of property; and have in general been as short in their lives, as they have been violent in their deaths.  Theoretic politicians, who have patronized this species of Government, have erroneously supposed, that by reducing mankind to a perfect equality in their political rights, they would, at the same time, be perfectly equalized and assimilated in their possessions, their opinions, and their passions."

It's interesting to realize the Founding Fathers even anticipated Liberlism, Socialism and the perfection of man through government force.  Actually, the same debates and erroneous assumptions of factions existed then, as they do now.  The Founding Fathers, being members of the Enlightenment and free thinking individuals, were more aware of these natural tendencies of human nature and were better prepared to handle them than most Americans today.

These politicians, then as now, are, as Madison further warns in Federalist Paper 10: "Men of fractious tempers, of local prejudices, or of sinister designs, may by intrigue, by corruption or by other means, first obtain the suffrages, and then betray the interests of the people."  This is the change to shared values Obama and his handlers are promising in Obocracy.  It is also a definition of demogoguery, the methods of Liberals, Nazis and Communists of every stripe.

The Founding Fathers show, again, there is nothing new in politics.  The enemies of Liberty are always with us, playing their same old shell game and promising change, only to betray the people.  Obama and his Obocracy are no different and are full of the new catch phrases of Opocrisy.

Tossing My Cookies

I have not been able to post for a few days because I decided to eliminate (toss) my cookies on my computer and unfortunately disrupted my acceess to my blog.  In other words, I was experiencing a tech problem, but I've been able to resolve it, hopefully, and will be back with some more views on politics, econmics and the general idiocy of the Left.  With the all the politics going on now, I have a lot to comment on in the next two to three months.  Obama, the Clintons and the Democrat Congress will keep me busy enough by themselves.

For The New Yorker-Scrape off Egg, Insert Foot

For satire to work, you need to know your audience and your target.  The New Yorker missed the target (us) and offended their audience.  Barry Blitt must have been blitzed when he drew the cartoon, a cartoon one would expect to see at townhall.com rather than the clueless New Yorker.  It didn't offend me at all.  I found it refreshing and thought it was a parody of the Left, rather than an ineffective attack by the Left.

It merely summarized some of our concerns about Obama, not our fears, and seemed to be an admission by the liberally obtuse that we were on the Right track; as far as goading Obama, rather than attacking him.  Barrack Obama is too insubstantial and changeable to really attack or become mad at for any length of time.  He is just some wayward, goofy bafoon; like Bill Clinton or the other Shill Du Jour Democrat presidential candidates the liberals trot out every four years in the hope that bull, like pigs, can actually fly.

What the Left fails to do every election year; besides believing their own press, is simply realize the American People's growing awareness of how predictibly stupid they are in the end.  The drugs and the booze from the 60's and 70's have to wear off sometimes, even for the humorless and deluded Left.  The jury is still out on their angry, reactionary and mind numbed audience.  Thinking for yourself is such hard work.

Jesse Jackson and the Castrati

Jackson just got in trouble when he said he wanted to cut Obama's nuts off.  The news media fell over themselves, tap dancing around exactly what surgical procedure he was talking about.  We are not children; we know what he said and are enjoying his rare moment of political incorrectness.  He's welcome to the dog house with the rest of us, even though he's only visiting.

The questions are boundless, for something so constricting and neutralizing.  What implement will Jesse use; a knife, a sword or the guillotine?  Will Berry Obama recieve sick leave for the loss of his berries in his own national healthcare program?  Will he need a new nickname other than Berry?  Maybe we can call him Berry No Nuts.  Will he then hire John Edwards, after Edwards chases down his ambulance, to initiate a civil case?  Can he sue the manufacturers of the implement in question, the hospital and the doctors who treat him?  Can he demand a surgical reunion?  Failing that, will he become an advocate for those who have been shorchanged by life?  Then, he can say to the steers of America with rare sincerety "I feel your pain."

Can Obama donate those stray berries, in the spirit of bi-partisanship, to MCCain as the other straw man searches for his own ball bearings, a spine and his missing strawberries?  Will it all be resolved at the Democrat convention in Denver, the center of the diminishing range of the endangered Rocky Mountain Oysters?

Can this incident handicap Obama?  Well, he certainly won't be able to play poker without the straight nuts or nut draw for a winning hand in No-Limit Texas Hold'em, having nothing to hold, not even a pair.  He'd be short stacked, limited and cut off from the competition.

Hillary could then accomodate his alienated sub-committee members in her legendary Testicular Lock Box cited by Rush Limbaugh.  There, they can hang out with the other subdivided, subpoenaed pairs contributed by the political castrati, while their former owners sing her praises.

Jesse Jackson is the latest victim of the P.C. Police and was taken out of context.  The context in which Jackson was speaking at the time was his opinion that Obama talked down to black people.  Obama talks down to everyone, so does Jackson.

However, there are other opinions about Jackson's supposed faux pas.  Mike Gallagher, in his blog, pointed out that no one with that much experience hogging the mike is going to make such a mistake.

Did Jackson accidentally/deliberately let it slip, sorry to say, in order to keep himself in the news and engender (render, end gender, endanger or render genderless?) some sympathy for Berry as the victim of the moment?  Was he creating a little drama or tragedy in the political theater of the absurd called the Democrat party before the convention in an unconventional way?  It's all a farce we should laugh at, like its cast, and disregard it all until they're ready to run for the elections in November.

Sen. Graham is Right. It's all Mental.

Dr. Graham, an Economist, is right, the whiners wrong.  The recession is only in some people's whiny little heads, not in reality.  We have not had two successive quarters of economic decline; simply two quarters of whiners in the news media and the resonating chants of woe from their chorus among the Losers of America.  In the real Ameica, misery and a recession from life are all in the mind of the enfeebled.

My life is not perfect; I live in Pittsburgh, needless to say.  Here, I am surrounded by our own whiny politicians, union members, over educated liberal academics and college students.  We even had a demonstration featuring at least three medical students from the Pitt School of Medicine carrying signs saying, in effect, health care over profits.  They are medical students in school on someone else's dime, so they can be self-deluded.  Wait till they have to pay the loans back under Obam's restrictive national healthcare system; then they'll whine, demanding the government, the very source of their problems, to bail them out.  We are suffering from an epidemic of complaints and a suspension of personal effort, backed up by what the deluded read or hear in the news.

Unemployment is at 5.5%, a state of Nirvana in the later Clinton years, brought about by a Republican Congress after the Democrats lost both houses because of the massive tax increases during Bubba's first two years,  Then, life was bliss, the President a compassionate visionary overseeing a new, inspired golden age in its ascendancy; while the Republicans cut taxes, spending and Welfare without notice or praise.  Conservative Economics, like the truth, are so boring to those too lazy to dream for themselves.  At the same time, these economic principles bring to others dreams that they try, no mater how slowly, to bring into reality; while they tell the govenment to go to hell.  The fallacy to the first group's top down Socailism is their failure to realize the people in government are exactly like them, with cushy jobs on the taxpayers' dole, who have every icentive to do nothing.  The bureaucrats only motivate themselves enough to whine and hope for a change.  They want even more power and money under the new visionary, Osama Obama.

This is the chorus of malcontents all the news stories are geared toward.  It's simply to keep them complaining and making the rest of us uncomfotible because of their insistent idiocy.  Congratualtions to Dr. Phil Graham for analyzing them and showing them to be a nation of whiners.  They are, after all is said and done, a vocal minority fouling their immediate surroundings within a much larger nation of hard working Ameircans.  They are also an endless trove for satire and debunking.  They sure keep me busy, aggravating them to the point of derision and hearing them complain.  That is why I'm marked in Pittsburgh (Pgh for short) as a Conservative and a Republican.  As a Republican, I would like to recommend Dr. Phil (Graham, that is) to be put on the short list for VP.  The two candidates are too ignorant of Economics, too busy whinig to mind the store and neither will last long in office.  We don't need whiners, we need a sound backup to these two economic dolts.
